We're introducing our new Romance Concierge, Dr. Pepper Schwartz! A Snoqualmie resident, she received her PhD from Yale University and is presently Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington. Author of many popular as well as academic books, she has been recognized for her work bringing academic expertise on relationships and sexuality to the general public. In 2005 she received a national award from the American Sociological Association for Public Understanding of Sociology and she is the Past President of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. She is now the Love and Relationship Expert for AARP and Chief Relationship Expert for Perfectmatch.com. She is the author of 17 books including "Prime: Adventures and Advice about Love, Sex and the Sensual Years" and "Great Sex Weekend". Her forthcoming books include The Normal Bar (what is normal in relationships in 20 countries) and Perfect Places for Passion and Romance at any Age - a romantic travel book to be published by Frommers/Wiley. She has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times Science section and appeared numerous times on Oprah and The Today Show.
