Salish Lodge & Spa is thrilled to introduce our new Yoga by The Falls program led by Director of Mind, Body & Spirit, John Jessum (Jess). Trained in the Baptiste style of Vinyasa Yoga, Jess' pursuit of self-actualization arts spans 30 years and weaves his passion into the unity of the community of those who come to the mat.

Taught as a moving meditation, each class is a journey of self-discovery where each

participant uses their breath as a guide to learning more about themselves individually and the world in which we live.

Vinyasa Flow and Gentle Yoga classes are taught in the lodge’s beautiful new Hidden Terrace with its remarkable view of Snoqualmie Falls – the perfect setting for achieving true inner peace.

Class Descriptions & Schedule

All classes are 60 minutes in length and held in our newly enclosed, temperature controlled Hidden Terrace.

Vinyasa Flow
Offered seven days a week at 10am
Vinyasa Flow is a moving meditation that challenges one to stay present, while drawing on inner reserves of power and strength as the student explores their deepest levels on a journey of self-discovery and illumination. During this 60 minute session, the practitioner will move through a series of guided sequences, combining breath and movement in a coordinated flow.

Gentle Yoga
Offered Saturday and Sunday at 8:30am
Gentle Yoga is an open invitation for all to move into a safe and guided practice, helping to relieve tension and stress in both body and mind. Accessible to all levels, this 60 minute guided class combines postures, gentle flow and soft stretching. Meditative in nature, the pace remains easy and comfortable with opportunities for the practitioner to explore deeper if they wish.

Private Session
Offered by appointment only Monday – Thursday at 8am or Friday, Saturday and Sunday, based on availability
Engage one on one with our talented instructors to gain insight and adjustment often hard to obtain in group classes. Spend 60 minutes on a guided journey through the elements of Vinyassa Flow, finding the alignment and structure that best suits you. This intimate lesson will take you deeper into areas of concern while allowing the time to relax and move at your own pace. Moving blocked energy and learning to open areas of tension brings greater health and vitality to both mind and body. Private sessions are available upon request for individuals or groups up to 12.
